Vladimir spent eight years at Baker Botts working on cross-border M&A and venture capital transactions — the kind of complex, multi-jurisdictional deals where coordination between counsel matters as much as the legal analysis itself.
Then he moved to the other side of the table. For four and a half years as CLO of an international fintech, he experienced firsthand what clients go through: coordinating local counsel across jurisdictions, managing unpredictable invoices, waiting weeks for routine work, and acting as project manager between firms that didn't talk to each other.
